Lesson Prices
Lesson prices not only includes the actual lesson time, but the time spent away from the student as well.
Duration of Lessons
Lessons run from September - June

1st Term - September - December

2nd Term - January - June
The schedule is automatically made from September - June. You do not need to re-register for the 2nd Term.
Unpaid Invoices

A late fee will apply after the 15th of the month.

If payment is not received by the 1st of the next month, the teacher has the right to discontinue future lessons unless the bill is paid.

After two weeks into the next month, your time slot will be fortified if the balance has still not been paid. You still owe money for the lessons that you received.
Missed Lessons
24 Hour Notice

You have 24 hours before your lesson to cancel in order to receive a credit.
Less than 24 Hour Notice

Any cancellation, no show, or failed attempt to reschedule with less than 24 hour notice, does NOT qualify for a credit. There are no refunds.
Holidays
Lessons are not scheduled during the Christmas and March Break

If less than 24 hour notice was provided, provisions of a make-up lesson will be done at the discretion of the teacher and only with an acceptable reason from the client.
If The Teacher Cancels A Lesson

If the teacher cancels a lesson, you will be credited.
Make Up Lessons
There is only room in the schedule to have ONE Make Up Lesson Week per Term.
First Term Make Up Week
First Term Make Up Week takes place in December.
Second Term Make Up Week
Second Term Make Up Week takes place in June
Lessons That Qualify For A Make Up Lesson
A lesson that received a Credit.

A make up lesson is to be completed by the end of the Term in which the lesson was occurred.
i.e.
If you missed the scheduled make up lesson during the First Term, the teacher has no obligation to continue to make up the lesson during the Second Term. If a credit was used for a make up lesson and the lesson is missed or cancelled on the day, you will not be re-credited.

Snow Days
Yes, there are lessons.

There are NO CREDITS for missed lessons on Snow Days. If the teacher has been informed the student is missing the lesson due to the weather, the student will have the option to make up the lesson during the Make Up Week.

In the event the teacher cancels a lesson on a Snow Day, only then will the lesson be Credited.
Cancelling All Lessons
Remaining Credits
There is a 2 WEEK CANCELLATION POLICY i.e. you have two more lessons after giving notice. Lessons are billed whether you attend them or not.
Monthly Payments:
Any remaining credits at the end of the year will be applied to the following year (September's Invoice). If you do not return, your credit(s) will returned to you via e-transfer.
Term or Whole Year Payments:
As you were provided with a Discount; the remaining balance will be returned via e-transfer by the end of June or July.
Festival and Recital
There are NO lessons during the Temiskaming Festival of Music - this applies whether you are in the Festival or not.

There are NO lessons on the day of the Recital - this applies whether you are in the Recital or not.
